A large melt lake at the terminus of the Tasman Glacier.
Info Origin
This melt lake is named for the Tasman Glacier from which it is fed. The glacier is named by Julius von Haast after Abel Janzoon Tasman, the Dutch explorer after whom many places in New Zealand take their name.
