The western end of this track is very had to determine. Maps show it dropping to the forks next to pt564 - and this route is possible, but I can confirm there is not track down that spur. It probably ran up the next spur east. This spot is marked by the end of broad flats in the valley, and a sharp corner in the river where it flows down from the north.
