A carpark, information sign and longdrop at the end of Poads Road mark the start of tracks to Waiopehu, Te Matawai and up the Ohau River.

Accessed along Gladstone Road from Levin, following the Tararua Park signs, and turning off over the very narrow road bridge. The last 1km is gravel, but easily 2wd accessible.
