Confluence of the Oamaru River and Otorehinaiti River. The junction is not marked, but here an unmarked route branches off the Oamaru River track up the Otorehinaiti and over a low saddle to Otore Clearing (for Otore biv) and to upper Harkness (for Tussuck Hut).
