A private hut on a block of private land that cuts into the Ruahines. Hut book entries show that the only users seem to be trampers and hunters - no sign of the owners / builders, whoever they were.

The hut features 2 bunks, and is far from weathertight. A continuous stream of drips greeted me on the rainy day I visited. Maybe put a plastic sheet on the top bunk & sleep on the bottom ...
