Gravel and grass parking area before the locked gate, 200m down the '4WD' track off the Mt Nicholas Road. Access from Mossburn-Te Anau road past Mavora Lakes.

A fully enclosed shelter has been built next to the road as part of the around the mountains cycle trail, 50m west of the carpark.
