The start of the main flats at Kerin Forks, good camping here. This is as far up as the Wilkin River jet boats operate. Can be a busy place in summer with people catching the boats. Also the main place to cross the river if heading up the Wilkin. The map here of the river layout is completely wrong. The Wilkin very quickly becomes impassible after rain.
