The third of three 'Winchcombe biv's. It was built by exNZFS culler Paul Gush at his home & on 28 April, 2021, flown to the site by Amalgamated Helicopters. Volunteers involved were John McCann, Mike Wilkinson, Grant Timlin, Mike Willkinson, Josh Murray, Hitiri Turner, Sandy Allan, Josh Murray, Megan Dimozantos & Greg Barber. It is on the same site as the 2 other bivs, but this structure is a ‘throw-back’ to the original ‘dog-box’ design. March, 2024, saw passive venting added as a back up to the active venting in the biv.
