A large hut with two bunkrooms and a spacious kitchen / dining area on flats looking across the Mohaka River. The river is 20m away, and has good swimmable pools. Heating and stoves are provided (gas). Camping is allowed on the grassy flat outside, but note that fires are prohibited.

Most people visit the hut as part of a trip to the hot pools 45 (DOC) minutes upriver, where camping is also possible..
