NZTM2000: 1889569, 5647158 (alt: 1314m)
A standard 4-bunk forestry hut in the Kaweka Range. Situated in a tongue of beech beside a small stream, right on the bushedge - this is a sheltered but relatively high altitude hut. The hut features an enclosed woodburner and water from the stream. As with all Kaweka huts it is popular with hunters, especially during the sika roar, in April-May.
