An Uruwera-standard 4-bunk hut (3 mattresses) on the TL of the Te Weramata Stream. 20m above the river on the base of a spur, the hut looks down over the forks, over what used to be a grassy clearing but is now a thicket of bracken and nettle. Remains of others structures exist beside the stream. Tank water, woodburner, hut in good condition.
