Confluence of the Waikura with the small Y shaped catchment that drains west of pt1118. Access to Kopuapounamu is possible up the ridge between the two froks of this side creek. There is space for 1 small tent at the Waikura confluence, but good flats on terraces on the TR just above the park boundary, 1km downriver are better.
