Riverbed route with 4WD tracks. River ankle-deep or dry in normal flows. Easy going but mix of soft tiring surface and hard river stones. Forks in river require attention to map to choose the correct (main) river. Limited (or no) clean drinking water due to cattle in the riverbed until the Inland Route, above which the river is likely to be dry.
