Raft / kayak route down Waiau River from Rainbow Reach carpark to Lake Manapouri. Shallow Bay Hut is 500m east along the lake shore.

Generally simple river - a few grade 1 and one grade 1-2 rapids with long stretches of fat water between. The lakeshore is walkable if the lake has too much chop/wind.
