Follow tussock slopes up and slightly left heading for the flattish area behind the 'pyramid' below the icecliffs. Tackle the rockband directly, probably safer as not directly under the icecliffs but slower as rockclimbing is needed. From top of rockband, follow steep snowslope to reach the main glacier at around 1850m. Follow slopes up and across to the main ridge. Cross ridge at around 2240m to the Donald Glacier. Follow slopes up to reach summit pyramid, follow ridge to summit.
