Note: Described in the reverse direction to your journey
Travel north east at about 1600-1700m, descending and then climbing out of the two streams to reach a flattish area SW of pt 1936m. Ascend the scree to the ridge. From the ridge, the grassy lead below pt 1760m to the Temple Stream North Branch is obvious. Descend and then work your way around below Rabbiters Peak until reaching the slopes below and just past pt 1760. Some scouting will be needed for a few gullies but it is tramping rather than scrambling. Work your way down the tussock and then the grass lead to the valley floor. Follow the track to the carpark.
