From the info kiosk / junction, drop into the riverbed and follow it downriver. A 4WD track exists in places on the norther bank, in others remain on the river gravel. After a brief flat-bottomed gorge you emerge onto gravel flats in the Clarence. Follow the wheel marks 500m downriver and up onto a grassy paddock on the eastern bank where you will find Seymour Hut.
