Unmarked route along ridge which starts off rocky, then enters a patch of tussock wading, before becoming easier to follow past the saddle. We traversed left (south) off Angle Knob and down a narrow chute onto the slip, then a good way down the scree slip (easy going), then cut across to join the main ridge below the rocky section, thus avoiding much clambering. Apparently the right/northern (rockier) side is also ok to traverse, but seems difficult to pick a good line while descending. Allow at least 3-4 hours return
