From Brabyn. From the upper basin, to avoid the waterfall and bluffs, traverse right about 100m, then take the scree slide direct to the valley floor. Rock hop the middle valley, then enter the bush, and follow your nose avoiding the river. When Brabyn did this trip prior to writing it up, the lower Discovery was a 'pleasant boulder hop', but now with being scoured out it"s pretty bouldery after a long day.
