From Macetown either follow the 4WD track downriver, making multiple crossings, or follow the benched, poled pack-track sidling the southern valleyside and avoiding the river.

After 2km the forks with Eight Mile Creek (from the SW) are reached. A signpost marks the turnoff to Big Hill Track.
