From the small campsite on the true right of Rangitikei follow the permolat markers up the small tributary. The track will drop in to the creek after a couple of minutes and there will be a carne on the true left. Opposite is another small tributary where you will cross and another cairn will mark the start of the track up the spur. Follow the permolats until you break out in to the scrub then faint track up to the top. First junction will be Ignimbrite/Junction top. Another 10mins up to Junction Top..
