From Satan Saddle, descend the Lambert Glacier to below the SW ridge of Mt Lambert. Work up the slopes keeping more or less parallel to the SW ridge as crevasses permit. There is a rocky gendarme as a false summit to scramble past. The final step to the summit is a loose rocky scramble.
