Route is easy enough to follow although has had minimal maintenance. Follows the shoulder of Ngapuketurua tops around and down into the long bush Beech Ridge. Good water available in the low scrub saddle coming off the tops before climbing back up on to the bush ridge. Pole markers through the tops, Doc orange triangles in the bush.
Track is all private land. Tramping permits required through Helisika.
