Follow broad top of range through low tussock. Mostly very easy going.
We did it in cloud so had the compass out to ensure we stayed on track. Would be very easy in fine weather.
We missed the turn side spur in the cloud , but the ridge gets narrow shortly past the turn off so it is easy to realise you have gone to far.
THere are waratahs on the poled route, but they are fairly sparse.
