Head north from pt951 along the track to the next small knob, and take the spur that drops NW from there. A bit of windfall is present, but it's ok. Drop to the saddle, and then swing due north passing the next knob between the saddle and the forks on the eastern side. You will hit the upstream end of the duckpond - a small, partially water, partially weed, partially mud lake in the creekbed. Duckpond Hut is up the slope, about 40m due north from the lake, just east of the small sidecreek shown on maps. Nose around and you'll find it!
