Skills: Prolonged scrambles (4/7)
Climb up onto Park Pass and cross a small gully. Climb up the slope to the north parallel to a small bluff and then climb westwards through a small gap in the bluff to reach the main ridge line. Climb steeply up the ridge line all the way up, staying away from a drop off on the north side. Grass soon gives way to rock and scree, with the upper part of the climb being all glacial tailings. Theres a great view of the glacier and melt lake (not shown on the map) from Point 1588.
Note: Theres a helicopter landing point southeast of Point 1588. You might have your solitude interrupted up here by heli tourists!
