Follow the Mt Bealey track, which is marked as far as the bushline. From here, follow clear but unmarked track up the ridge through low alpine scrub. Snow would conceal the "track" but the ridge is obvious and easy to follow.

The route is generally straightforward, with some exposure on a sidle around a section before pt 1780, and short sections of narrow ridgeline above steep terrain between pt 1780 and 1836.
