On the TR of Luma Luma Creek, there is bouldery bush to The Forks, and beyond that, the topo map suggests flats. These are very boggy, but we found dry campsites in the bush to the west. Continuing in fairly thick bush, decorated with large rocks the first lake is met near the outlet. The lake requires paddling, and there follows a steep ascent to the second lake. Force down to the shore, where there are some large flat rocks to prepare the pack-rafts. Paddle this lake & land in light scrubby conditions. Within half a kilometre, there are good campsites in tussock
