Moirs Guide South S. 112

This section was Part of my Packrafting Trip: Doon–>Large Burn–>Caswell Sound–>Stillwater–>Ethne Saddle–>George Sound Route

Good deertrails and riverbed travel from the bottom of the Saddle until the swamps. The crossing before the swamps may be impassable during heavy rain. From the swamps enter the slow going boulder field away from the river until reaching the easy riverbed again.
Good camping is possible on the shore of Lake Marchant, but can be prone to flooding in heavy rain.

Time: 4-6 hours
