From the upriver end of the campsite, a 4WD track climbs the face to Alice Nash Memorial Heritage Lodge.

An old 4WD track (now closed to vehicles) drops to the river below Alice Nash Memorial Heritage Lodge. The track starts 50m west of the hut (back towards the roadend), and zigzags gently down to the river. Small shaded campspots are available at the foot of the track, and several sunnier spots on grassy flats beyond.
