Selecting from touchscreen should now work ok. A brief touch shows the name of the feature (a-la hover over with mouse), a longer touch navigates to it.

I'm actually in the process of working on that upgrade now to allow better smartphone access. mapspast.org.nz is done - routeguides next. Some benefits to being locked up & isolated!

Yes. Known issue - the area you need to click is too small to do accurately on a touchscreen. Only fix here is to upgrade the mapping software to a newer version that lets me configure a bigger buffer around points/linrs but its a big job so not likely to happen soon.

In the meantime the workaround is to use the select by rectangle tool (2nd last button on the map toolbar).

Maybe I'm too stupid, but on my iphone I cannot click on a place or route to get informations and to add it on my trip. On my computer it's no problem. Does anybody know what's my mistake?
