Thats cool. Can't do everything at once. Further to log ins -- a second tab opened to the site (2 pages at the same time) required me to log in a second time ??

Yes - it annoys me too. As a quick-and-dirty way of resetting everything to default when you log in or log out I do a complete reload of the webpage including the mapping application. However, in reality reloading the map application is not necessary. Fixing this is now on the todo / buglist.

Return to the page you were on if prompted to log in to complete an action is also on my 'one day' list, but won;t be coming soon.

at present where ever you are before, when you sign in you drop back out to a 'home' page and a wide out view of the map. It would be better (IMHO) if the map at least could stay where it was zoomed into.
