A basic, free DOC campsite between Takaputahi road and Takaputahi RIver. Situatied on the eastern limit of the Raukumara Forest Park, at the junction of Opiti Rd and Takaputaki Road.

There’s a couple of clearings sheltered by large conifers, and a long-drop. A short track drops 20m to the Takaputaki River, where there is water (obviously) and pools for a swim.
