A well cut, well marked trapline runs south to the Platinum Mines from South Range road. The start is signposted with a wooden 'Platinum Mines 15mins' sign.

A well maintained trapline runs north from the Platinum Mines to South Range Road. The south end of this can be hard to find (I didn't find it) but scouting around on the top of the ridge north of the northenmost mine you will pick it up. Once on it it's well cut and marked with blue triangles.
