Exit the Tukituki River on the true right below confluence of small side stream. Follow well worn track steeply through trees until junction with Longview tops route. Head down track marked to Daphne carpark (1.5 hours). Good track in dry conditions, could be slippery when wet. Once on the flat grassy area at the bottom attempt to follow the white poles, crossing two small streams. Poles can be obscured when grass is long, but tracks through are easily found.
