From the campsite south of Sparrman, paddle across the 3rd lake in Luma Luma Creek to a clear landing, then follow through scrub and bush to the bushline, where there is good going in tussock and rocks. Follow up the ridge to the top of Mt Sparrman. Descend the western ridge to Pt 705 through bush and leatherwood scrub, then turn further down the ridge to the south. Leatherwood continues here. Drop off the ridge to avoid bluffs, and follow the stream down to boggy flats. Then turn northward, and descend to Dusky Sound on the TR of the stream which forms the cascade the area is named for. The bush here is quite straightforward. There is a bouldery beach at the shore.
