Continue following the Telford north branch down to the confluence with the main Telford Burn, traveling either in the stream bed or on the true right bank. The main Telford is followed up river until just past the large tributary entering from the north. Look for a small cleared flat area (the cleared rocks have been put into a wall) large enough for a tent on the true right side of the river bank. There is a large orange triangle attached to a small beech tree just upstream of here but it is over grown and hard to spot. A trail leads away from the river bank into the bush, Telford hut is located about 50m in under the trees.

Note: Telford Hut is mapped wrong on this map, but more modern maps show it in its correct location.
