From the base of Parks Track, the old logging tramway that forms Yeomans Track continues south 1km to hit forestry tracks at the park boundary.

From the signposted track junction on the corner of Makaroro Rd, Yeomans Track heads north following an old logging tramway. Creeks are bridged and going is easy. Mountain bikes use this track.

After 1km a signpost marks the start of the Parks Peak track climbing NE.
